On Monday, October 7, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Young Adults are invited to create 3D paper pumpkins. This is a free come-and-go program. All supplies are provided by the library.
Join the local libraries in welcoming local author, Hank Kohler, on Monday, September 30, at 7:00 p.m., in the Spirit Lake Public Library conference room. One4Water is about two different canoe trips that he went on: one in 1979 and another in 2021. Between the two excursions, he traveled over 3,000 miles. Hank will talk about what he saw and did during the fascinating trips that he took from Minnesota to Hudson Bay and Minnesota to the Gulf of Mexico. This free program is sponsored by the Friends groups of Milford, Arnolds Park, and Spirit Lake Libraries.
Some are scary and others can be hairy, but you can build your own. Join MML’s After-School Adventures on Thursday, October 10, at 3:30 p.m. to create your own monster. On Wednesday, October 2, at 5:30 p.m., an open meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Milford Memorial Library will take place in the Milford Community Center. The agenda will be posted on MML’s website and front bulletin board at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend and offer their thoughts in order to make MML a better library.
