Children preschool – 4th grade are invited to come to the Milford Memorial Library on Thursday, September 14, at 3:30 p.m., for an afternoon full of fun games. This program is free to all participants.
If you are in 3rd or 4th grade and you like to create with your hands and use your brain, the Constructors Club is for you! We’ll have fun while constructing something different each month. Come to the library Saturday, September 16, at 11:00 a.m., and prepare to make Hardware Store Accessories. Don’t forget to bring your thinking cap! There is no cost and all materials are provided by the library.

Join the Milford Library's Open Book Discussion Group the third Tuesday of each month at 1:00pm. This group is open to all. It's not necessary to attend all meetings. Come and go as you please! The book for this month is Lilac Girls.
Drum Safari is coming to the Milford Memorial Library Tuesday, September 19! Drum Safari is a group based in Kansas City that travels all over the Midwest providing high-energy, interactive programs that encourage all ages to think creatively! They use a mix of percussion instruments, interactive songs, dancing, and, of course, drumming! Be watching for more information coming soon.
Area libraries are sponsoring Paint Night at the Library in June! Join area libraries on Tuesday, September 26, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Arnolds Park Library for a fun night of painting, community, and snacks! There are only are only 30 spots available for this painting class. The cost for early registration is $7.50 and registration the day of the event is $15. Those interested can register at the Arnolds Park Public Library, Spirit Lake Public Library, and the Milford Memorial Library. Attendees of any skill level are invited to recreate a beautiful painting by following step-by-step instructions from the artist who created the original painting. Participants will be painting on a 16 x 20 canvas and all the supplies are provided by the libraries. Mark your calendars for Paint Night at the Library!
