Join MML for our weekly Building Bookworms Storytime on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. Take a look below for our themes. All materials and services are provided by the library free to participants. On Monday, September 15, Milford Memorial Library has a variety of free come-and-go activities for kids and young adults. Starting at 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., kids can come discover new toys and play with friends at MML’s All-Day play. Fourth through twelfth graders can bring their friends and create a washer necklace or bracelet from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. All toys and materials will be provided by the library.
How does your plant collection grow? By joining MML’s CrAFTER Hours for a Plant Swap on Wednesday, September 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There is no registration and the cost is bringing a plant to swap.
On Thursday, September 18, at 10:00 a.m., Milford Memorial Library will be welcoming Cari from St. Croix for a How Can Hospice Help You program. She will explain what hospice is, what they do, and answer your questions. Cari will take this intimidating topic and make it a bit more calming. Coffee and Lisa’s Bake Shop cinnamon rolls will be provided for this free program.
You invited to come discuss The Many Lives of Mama Love by Lara Love Hardin with the Milford Memorial Library Book Club on Tuesday, September 16, at 1:00 p.m. It is not necessary to attend all of the book club meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
Paint Night at the Library is happening on Tuesday, September 23, at 7 p.m., at Milford Memorial Library. This month we are creating a seasonal interchangeable round door sign. The cost for this event is $35. Participants can register at Milford Memorial Library, Arnolds Park Library, or Spirit Lake Public Library.
