On Monday, October 6, join Milford Memorial Library for Playdate! From 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., discover new and exciting toys while playing with friends. This is a free come-and-go playtime, where all the toys are provided by the library.
Y.A. Maker Monday will be on Monday, October 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During this free come-and-go event, fourth through twelfth graders can create a ghost thumbprint painting.
Create your own monster treat during MML’s After-School Adventures. Join MML on Thursday, October 9, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., for this free activity. All supplies will be provided.
The Milford Memorial Library Book Club will be discussing Stephen King’s horror novel Pet Sematary on Tuesday, October 14, at 1:00 p.m. It is not necessary to attend all of the book meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
On Wednesday, October 1, at 5:30 p.m., an open meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Milford Memorial Library will take place in the Milford Community Center. The agenda will be posted on MML’s website and front bulletin board at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend and offer their thoughts in order to make MML a better library.
It’s beginning to be cozy mystery reading season. Milford Memorial Library recommends, The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman, Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers by Jesse G.
