Any interested individuals are welcome to join MML's Book Club on Tuesday, September 20, at 1:00 p.m. The featured book, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab, can be found in our library. It is not necessary to attend all of the meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
Join MML for our Adult Craft Series as we make a Mason Jar Pincushion on Wednesday, September 21, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Milford Memorial Library. This craft also comes in kit form. The kit will include fabric, needle, thread, mason jar and instructions. The cost for this craft is $5.00 and registration is required. MML’s Young Adult Get Cooking Challenge Box is available until Friday, September 23. This Challenge Box is for fourth through twelfth graders, who want to experiment in the kitchen. The food challenges are based around planning and preparing a meal. This is a free activity, but it does require registration. Young adults may register by calling (712) 338-4643 or by emailing [email protected]. Subscription Boxes maybe picked up at the library.
For those who registered with the Dickinson County Extension and Outreach, a reminder that jam making with ISU Extension is on Tuesday, September 13, at 5:00 p.m., at the Milford Memorial Library. All classes are currently full, but there is a possibly of more classes in October. With fall comes harvest and around-the-clock work. MML is makes getting materials easy with some of our 24-hour services. Patrons can reserve materials online through MML’s online catalog. Materials can be picked up the next business day at the circulation desk or at the drive-up window. Milford Memorial Library: Youth Corner
September is here, and Milford Memorial Library is excited for the upcoming fall weather.
In the meantime, Miss Becca has one Building Bookworms left and five book displays on the shelves. Building Bookworms is on Monday, September 26, at 10:30 a.m., with the focus being pirates. Once again, the lovable, furry guest will be there.
