Join Milford Memorial Library on Thursday, November 13, at 3:30 p.m., for MML’s After-School Adventures. This month, we will be creating gratitude garlands. A small snack will be provided during this free activity.
Join us for MML’s CrAFTER Hours on Wednesday, November 19, from 5 - 7 p.m. This month we will be a class on beginner sourdough. Cost is $5 for this event. Call the Milford Memorial Library to register at (712) 338-4643.

Now that the jack-o-lanterns and ghosts have been put away, now is the time to dust off the tinsel and the tree. We invite you to design and display a tree at the Festival of Trees! On Friday, November 21, through Friday, December 5, may begin to bring in their trees. Trees will be judged on Saturday, December 6, during Holiday Fantasy. Tree categories are the following: Best Business, Best Personal/ Family, Best Organization, Most Creative, and Librarian’s Choice. “Fill the Cart” for the Dickinson County Upper Des Moines Food Pantry will be Friday, November 21, through Friday, December 12! We are collecting non-perishable food items at the Milford Memorial Library. Help us fill their cupboards.
Okoboji Flooring and Furniture, Campus Women’s Club, and the Milford Memorial Library are partnering once again for the Milford Area Secret Santa program. This program is aimed to give underprivileged families a chance to celebrate the holidays without stressing about finances. Anyone can anonymously nominate families, who may need help buying their children presents. The deadline for nomination is November 17. Forms are online. Paper forms can be picked up and dropped off at the Milford Memorial Library.
