Join MML for our weekly Building Bookworms Storytime on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. Take a look below for our themes. All materials and services are provided by the library free to participants. Join us for MML’s CrAFTER Hours on Wednesday, November 19, from 5 - 7 p.m. This month we will be a class on beginner sourdough. Cost is $5 for this event. Call the Milford Memorial Library to register at (712) 338-4643.
MML's Book Club is happening on Tuesday, November 18, at 1:00 p.m. The featured book, James by Percival Everett, can be found in our library.
Join us on Tuesday, November 18, at 7 p.m. for Paint Night at the Library! This month we will be at the Milford Memorial Library and Kris Walker will be leading us through an acrylic painting. We are inviting all families, businesses, and organizations to create a tree for the 2025 Festival of Trees! On Friday, November 21, you can start setting up trees at Milford Memorial Library. The last day to set up is Friday, December 5. Trees will be judged on Saturday, December 6, during Holiday Fantasy. Tree categories are the following: Best Business, Best Personal/ Family, Best Organization, Most Creative, and Librarian’s Choice. Starting Friday, November 21, “Fill the Cart” for Dickinson County Upper Des Moines Food Pantry will begin! We are collecting non-perishable food items at Milford Memorial Library until Friday, December 13. Help us fill their cupboards.
Milford Memorial Library will be closed Thursday, November 27, through Saturday, November 29, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Milford Memorial Library will reopen on Monday, December 1, at 9:30 a.m. We wish you a happy and safe Thanksgiving.
