Join MML for All-Day Play on Monday, April 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Discover new toys while playing with friends during this free come-and-go playtime. All toys are provided by the library.
Fourth through twelfth graders, create your own dragon egg during MML’s Y.A. Maker Monday on Monday, April 6. Young Adults may come-and-go during this free activity. All materials are provided by the library.
After-School Adventures is happening on Thursday, April 9, at 3:30 p.m. This month we will be creating a paint chip flower bookmark. A small snack will be provided during this free activity.
From 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, April 11, at Jones Dairy Farm (2680 250th Ave, Spencer, IA, 5130), join Books in the Barn for a morning of reading, playing, music, and crafts on the farm. Your family will get to meet milk cows, read to calves, and learn how milk gets from the farm to your table. Please dress for the weather. Program partners are: Milford Memorial Library, Dickinson County Farm Bureau, Clay/Buena Vista County Farm Bureau: Agriculture in the Classroom, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Jones Dairy, Iowa Agriculture Literacy Foundation, Kindermusik at the Lakes, Spencer Reads, and Western Iowa Dairy Alliance.
On Wednesday, April 8, at 5:30 p.m., an open meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Milford Memorial Library will take place in the Milford Community Center. The agenda will be posted on MML’s website and front bulletin board at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend and offer their thoughts in order to make MML a better library.
