Milford Memorial Library would like to congratulate Blind Date with a Book Winners, Judd and Ashley. We would like to thank everyone who took part in this event. Thank you to the Friends of the Milford Library for providing the Blind Date with a Book prizes.
Join MML for our weekly Building Bookworms Storytime on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. Take a look below for our themes. All materials and services are provided by the library free to participants. All kids and their adults are welcome to stay after storytime and mingle. For more information contact the library or check out our Facebook page.
Create a concrete egg candle at MML’s CrAFTER Hours on Wednesday, March 18, from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. We will have all materials. The cost is $5. Register now by calling MML at 338-4643.
On Tuesday, March 18, at 1:00 p.m., any interested individuals are welcome to join the Milford Memorial Library Book Club to discuss A Tree Grows in Brooklynn by Betty Smith. Copies can be found at MML. It is not necessary to attend all of the meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
MML’s Read Across America Bingo is going on until Monday, March 31. Kids in fourth grade or younger, may pick up their bingo cards at MML’s front desk. Four Bingos in a row equals a small prize, and a completed bingo card equals a prize drawing entry.
MML’s Hot Read is Battle Mountain by C.J. Box. Go to MML’s website, www.milford.lib.ia.us, to find other Hot Reads or to place a reserve on our online catalog.
