MML’s Building Bookworms Storytime happens on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. Take a look below for our themes. All materials and services are provided by the library free to participants. All kids and their adults are welcome to stay after storytime and mingle. For more information contact the library or check out our Facebook page.
MML’s YA Maker Monday will be held on Monday, June 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During this free come-and-go activity, we will be creating Perler Bead Magnets.
On Tuesday June 16, at 2:00 p.m., join us at MML for a free showing of the movie Ratatouille. Popcorn and water will be provided.
Join us in welcoming Rad Reptile Zoo on Wednesday, June 17, at the Pearson Lakes Art Center. See our reptile friends at their 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. shows. This event is sponsored by the Arnolds Park, Milford, and Spirit Lake Libraries.
The Juggler With The Yellow Shoes combines dazzling juggling feats with humor and storytelling, creating a dynamic performance. Enjoy the show on Friday, June 19, at 10:30 a.m., at the Pearson Lakes Art Center. This event is sponsored by the Arnolds Park, Milford, and Spirit Lake Libraries.
MML's CrAFTER Hours is on Wednesday, June 17, from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. This month, we will be creating Painted Citrus Trays. Cost is $5. Make sure to preregister by calling MML at 712-338-4643.
Milford Memorial Library Book Club, invites you join them on Tuesday, June 16, at 1:00 p.m. This month, they will be discussing The Amalfi Curse by Sarah Penner. Copies can be found at the library.
Young Adult Beach Reads are now available at MML through Friday, August 7! Incoming 4th through 12th Graders, will receive a snack, small activity, bookmark, and book. Only return the book, everything else can be kept. This is a free program.
Incoming 5th - 12th graders are invited to take part in the Paleozoic and Plant Pursuit! Twelve plant loving dinosaurs will be hiding in Milford and Arnolds Park. Once you find a dinosaur follow the directions. When completed, come to MML or Arnolds Park Library for a prize. The Pursuit ends on Friday, June 30.
