MML’s Building Bookworms Storytime happens on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. Below are our themes. Everything is provided by the library free to participants. All kids and their adults are welcome to stay after storytime and mingle. For more information contact us or check out our Facebook page.

Create a cute bug out of plastic spoons during MML’s YA Maker Monday on Monday, July 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is free come-and-go activity.
Ever wondered what it is like to spend the night in a museum? Do the statues come to life? On Tuesday July 6, at 2:00 p.m., join us at MML for a free showing of the movie Night at the Museum. Popcorn and water will be provided.
Join the Milford Memorial Library Book Club on Tuesday, July 21, at 1:00 p.m. This month, Peter Pan called and said he wanted his books. So, we invite you to share a children’s chapter or picture book of your choice. It is not necessary to attend all of the meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
Need a grab-and-go summer activity? Stop into MML for a Young Adult Beach Read Bag. Incoming 4th through 12th Graders will receive a snack, small activity, bookmark, and book. Only return the book, everything else can be kept. This is a free program. MML’s Young Adult Beach Reads are available until Friday, August 7!
The Friends of the Milford Library Foundation Annual Book Sale is coming!! On Thursday, July 23, at 11:00 a.m., join other volunteers and the library staff for book sale set-up. Pizza and a potluck will follow. Once everything is in place, let the shopping begin. Volunteers will get to shop early. Please let the library know if you plan to volunteer by signing up at the library or giving us a call at (712) 338-4643.
On Wednesday, July 8, at 5:30 p.m., an open meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Milford Memorial Library will take place in the Milford Community Center. The agenda will be posted on MML’s website and front bulletin board at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend and offer their thoughts in order to make MML a better library.
