Milford Memorial Library will be closed on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen on Monday, July 6, at 9:30 a.m. We wish everyone a fun and safe holiday.
MML’s Building Bookworms Storytime happens on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. Take a look below for our themes. All materials and services are provided by the library free to participants. All kids and their adults are welcome to stay after storytime and mingle. For more information contact the library or check out our Facebook page.

MML’s YA Maker Monday will be held on Monday, June 29, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During this free come-and-go activity, we will be decorating pillowcases by paint stamping with pool noodles.
On Tuesday June 30, at 2:00 p.m., join us at MML for a free showing of the movie National Treasure. Popcorn and water will be provided.
Milford Memorial Library and Arnolds Park Library have hidden 12 plant loving dinosaurs in the area. We are inviting incoming 5th- 12th graders, to try and them. When you have located a dinosaur, scan the QR code and answer the question. Once you have found all 12, stop in to Milford or Arnolds Park Library to pick up a prize. The hunt ends on Friday, June 30, at 11:59 p.m.
Need a grab-and-go summer activity? Stop into MML for a Young Adult Beach Read Bag. Incoming 4th through 12th Graders, will receive a snack, small activity, bookmark, and book. Only return the book, everything else can be kept. This is a free program. MML’s Young Adult Beach Reads are available until Friday, August 7!
MML's 2026 Summer Reading Program is going on now! Book lovers of all ages may pick up reading logs and program information at the library or online at milford.lib.ia.us. MML's Summer Reading Program logs are due on Friday, August 7.
Join other volunteers and the library staff for book sale set-up beginning at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, July 23, with pizza and a potluck to follow. Once everything is in place, let the shopping begin. Volunteers will get to shop early. Please let the library know if you plan to volunteer.
