On Tuesday, June 24, at 2:00 p.m., you’re invited to MML’s Summer Movies. This week we will be showing Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Popcorn and water will be provided during this free activity.
Calling all Trading Card Enthusiasts! On Tuesday, June 24, bring your Pokémon, sports, or other trading cards to the Spirit Lake Public Library and to swap ‘em like a pro. Ryan Schmidt from Okoboji Sports and Collectibles LLC will be there to provide tips and to answer questions. This come-and-go event is from 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m., so drop by when you can. Thank you to Milford Memorial Library, Spirit Lake Public Library, and the Arnolds Park Public Library for sponsoring this event.
Who’s ready for a summer party that is off the charts (or should we say the bookshelves). Join us on Thursday, June 26, at Central Park (84 Dewey Street, Arnolds Park) for the most epic Summer Reading Program Carnival ever! Come and ago as you please from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We will have a dunk tank, ice cream, petting zoo, face paint, inflatable games, and more! And, because we love nostalgia, the Lakes Area Museum Alliance is bringing the old-time games to the party! This event is brought to by the Milford Memorial Library, Spirit Lake Public Library, and the Arnolds Park Public Library.
MML's 2025 Summer Reading Program is going on now! Book lovers of all ages may pick up reading logs and program information at the library or online at milford.lib.ia.us. MML's Summer Reading Program logs are due on Friday, August 1.
