MML’s Building Bookworms Storytime happens on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. Take a look below for our themes. All materials and services are provided by the library free to participants. All kids and their adults are welcome to stay after storytime and mingle. For more information contact the library or check out our Facebook page.
MML’s YA Maker Monday will be held on Monday, June 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During this free come-and-go activity, we will be creating Mandrakes from Harry Potter.
On Tuesday June 16, at 2:00 p.m., join us at MML for a free showing of the movie The Lorax. Popcorn and water will be provided.
On Monday, June 22, join the lakes libraries and Kris Walker as she leads a kids’ painting class at Central Park in Arnolds Park. A class will be at 10:30 a.m. and at 2:00 p.m. Please contact Milford, Arnolds Park, or Spirit Lake Libraries to register. This activity is recommended for kids 8 years old and up. This event is sponsored by the Arnolds Park, Milford, and the Spirit Lake Libraries.
It’s Carnival Time! You’re invited to join us celebrate the Summer Reading Finale on Wednesday, June 24, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at Central Park, for yard games, face painting, ice cream, petting zoo, and more. This free come-and-go event is sponsored by the Arnolds Park, Milford, and Spirit Lake Libraries.
Incoming 5th - 12th graders are invited to take part in the Paleozoic and Plant Pursuit! Twelve plant loving dinosaurs will be hiding in Milford and Arnolds Park. Once you find a dinosaur follow the directions. When completed, come to MML or Arnolds Park Library for a prize. The Pursuit ends on Friday, June 30.
Young Adult Beach Reads are now available at MML through Friday, August 7! Incoming 4th through 12th Graders, will receive a snack, small activity, bookmark, and book. Only return the book, everything else can be kept. This is a free program.
Milford Memorial Library will be closed on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen on Monday, July 6, at 9:30 a.m. We wish everyone a fun and safe holiday
