MML’s Building Bookworms Storytime happens on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. Below are our themes. Everything is provided by the library free to participants. All kids and their adults are welcome to stay after storytime and mingle. For more information contact us or check out our Facebook page.
MML’s Building Bookworms Storytime will be taking a short break. We will be back with more stories and fun on Monday, September 14, at 10:30 a.m.
Grab lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks, because you are invited to Movie Night in the Park. On Friday, July 24, at 8:30 p.m., in Florence Park, join us for free showing of Hoppers. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Milford Library.
The Paleozoic and Plant Pursuit is going on until Sunday, August 2, for incoming 5th-12th graders! MML and Arnolds Park Library have hidden 12 plant loving dinosaurs around Milford and Arnolds Park. When you find a dinosaur, scan the QR code and complete the task. Once you find all 12, stop by Milford Memorial Library or Arnolds Park Library to pick up your prize. You may find a map and clues at both libraries, Facebook, and the MML’s website (milford.lib.ia.us)
Join the Milford Memorial Library Book Club on Tuesday, July 21, at 1:00 p.m. This month, you are invited to read and share about a children’s chapter or picture book of your choice. It is not necessary to attend all of the meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
Want to shop the Friends of the Milford Library Foundation Book Sale early? Join other volunteers and library staff on Thursday, July 23, at 11:00 a.m., for book sale set-up and pot luck. Once everything is in place, let the shopping begin. Volunteers may sign up by calling the library at 712-338-464, emailing [email protected], or scanning the QR code on the poster.
MML's 2026 Summer Reading Program is going on now! Readers of all ages may pick up reading trackers and program information at the library or online at milford.lib.ia.us. MML's Children’s and Young Adult’s Summer Reading ends on Friday, August 7, and the Adult’s ends on Monday, August 31.
