
Adult Craft Series will be on Wednesday, January 19, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Milford Memorial Library. We will be making clay jewelry. This craft also comes in kit form. The kit will include: clay, jump rings, toothpick, wire, chain, earing hooks and instructions. The cost for this craft is $5.00 and registration is required. MML’s book club, the Open Book Discussion Group, invites any interested individuals to come and discuss the featured book, Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, on Tuesday, January 25, at 1:00 p.m. Copies can be found at the library. It is not necessary to attend all of the meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
Join us on Tuesday, January 25, at 7:00 p.m., at the Arnolds Park Library, for a fun night of painting, fellowship, and snacks provided by the three local libraries. Any skill level is invited to recreate a painting following step-by-step instruction. All of the supplies will be provided by the libraries. There are only 30 spots available so pre-register at the Arnolds Park Public Library, Spirit Lake Public Library, or the Milford Memorial Library. The cost is $15 for registration. Have you checked out the Youth page on Milford Memorial Library’s website? Miss Becca has new updates every week. You can find this page by going to the library’s website (http://www.milford.lib.ia.us) and clicking on ‘Use Our Library- Youth’ which is on the left side. Don’t forget to stop by one of Miss Becca’s youth programs in January. There are two Building Bookworms left, and they are at 10:30 a.m. on Mondays, January 17 and 31. One will be on snowmen, and the other one will be on penguins. There will also be one Afterschool Activity at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, and the activity will be air dry clay.
