Join Milford Memorial Library and a special guest teacher for a beginner Mah Jongg Class! The event will happen on Thursday, September 10 at 1:00 p.m., and have a continuation class on Thursday, September 17 at 1:00 p.m. There is an 8 -person limit for the class. This class is free, but you will need to register. Register by calling MML at (712) 338-4643 or online.
MML’s After-School Adventures is back on Thursday, September 10, at 3:30 p.m.! To kick of this year’s adventures, we will be creating marbled pencils. During this free activity, all materials and a small snack will be provided.
Any interested individuals are invited to join the Milford Memorial Library Book Club on Tuesday, September 15, at 1:00 p.m. Copies of this month’s book, The Other Einstein by Marie Benedict can be found at MML. It is not necessary to attend all the meetings, you are welcome to come and go as you please.

Milford Memorial Library will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 8, at 9:30 a.m. Staff wishes for a fun and safe holiday.
Stop by MML for a free youth bike helmet. A selection of small, medium, and large youth helmets were donated by Blank Children’s Hospital to be given out to our community.
On Wednesday, September 2, at 5:30 p.m., an open meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Milford Memorial Library will take place in the Milford Community Center. The agenda will be posted on MML’s website and front bulletin board at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend and offer their thoughts in order to make MML a better library.
