MML’s Adult Craft series will help you create a comfortable place for reading with a “Reading Pillow”. Join this class for $5 on Wednesday, April 17, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., at the Milford Memorial Library. Registration for this event is required and the cost to participate is $5. On Wednesday, April 17, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., MML invites children and families to interact, have fun, and use their imaginations with a variety of toys, building items, puppets, coloring sheets, puzzles, and more. Guardians can relax and converse with other adults, or they are welcome to join in with the kids. All of the items are provided by the library. There is no pre-registration and no cost to join this discovery time.
We will be having our annual spring cleaning and BINGO day at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, at MML. We will dust and straighten shelves, enjoy some coffee and goodies, and play a couple of rounds of BINGO. If you bring a friend along that day, you get an extra free space on your BINGO card. All materials will be provided and there is no registration for this event.
Disney’s A Bug’s Life will be showing on Friday, April 19, at 10:00 a.m. All ages are welcome. Popcorn and water will be provided. There is no cost and no preregistration for this event.
Pudding Pictionary is back for the Young Adults (4th grade through 12th grade) on Monday, April 22, at 3:30 p.m. No artistic ability is necessary, but be prepared to get a little bit messy. There is no cost or no preregistration for this event.
Paint Night is Tuesday, April 30, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Arnold’s Park Public Library. Join others for a fun night of painting, fellowship, and snacks provided by the three local libraries. Any skill level is invited to recreate a 16 x 20 painting following step-by-step instructions from the original artist. All of the supplies will be provided by the libraries. There are only 30 spots available so pre-register at the Arnolds Park Public Library, Spirit Lake Public Library, or the Milford Memorial Library. The cost is $7.50 for early registration and $15 for registration on the day of the event.
