MML’s Annual Easter Coloring contest is going on until Saturday, April 13. The Easter Bunny Coloring contest is for Preschool through 4th grade youth. There will be prizes for the winners in various age groups (2-3, 4-5, 6-8, 9-10) and all the pictures will be displayed in the library.
MML’s Spring Egg Hunt has begun. This activity is for 4th Grade and up. Stop by the front desk to get a piece of paper featuring 12 different eggs with pictures from around our library. Then find and write down what and where those items are, and turn it in for a chance to win a prize. The hunt is over on Saturday, April 13.
Join the Milford Library's Open Book Discussion Group the third Tuesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. This group is open to all. It's not necessary to attend all meetings. Come and go as you please! The book for this month is The Forgotten Road.
MML’s Adult Craft series will help you create a comfortable place for reading with a “Reading Pillow”. Join this class for $5 on Wednesday, April 17, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., at the Milford Memorial Library. Registration for this event is required and the cost to participate is $5. On Wednesday, April 17, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., MML invites children and families to interact, have fun, and use their imaginations with a variety of toys, building items, puppets, coloring sheets, puzzles, and more. Guardians can relax and converse with other adults, or they are welcome to join in with the kids. All of the items are provided by the library. There is no pre-registration and no cost to join this discovery time.
We will be having our annual spring cleaning and BINGO day at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, at MML. We will dust and straighten shelves, enjoy some coffee and goodies, and play a couple of rounds of BINGO. If you bring a friend along that day, you get an extra free space on your BINGO card. All materials will be provided, and there is no cost and no registration for this event.
