On Thursday, November 7, at 6:30 p.m., in the Milford Community Center, join Lakes Area Libraries for Travel with Sara. At an early age, presenter and author Sara Broers was bitten by the travel bug. Throughout her lifetime, she developed a deeper love for sharing travel experiences with others. In 2019, she was honored to receive the 2019 Outstanding Iowa Leadership Award through Travel Iowa and the Economic Development Authority. In 2022, she wrote the book, 100 Things To Do In Iowa Before You Die and Perfect Day Iowa. She co-authored the book, Midwest Road Trip Adventures in 2022, as well. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Milford Memorial Library, Arnolds Park Library, and Spirit Lake Public Library.
On Monday, November 11, from 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., join MML for All-Day Play. Discover new and exciting toys while having fun with friends. This is a come-and-go playtime. Young Adults come hang out at MML on Monday, November 11, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and create a decision dice. Supplies will be provided, but will be limited.
