Join MML for our weekly Building Bookworms Storytime on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. Take a look below for our themes. All materials and services are provided by the library free to participants. Kids and their adults are welcome to stay after storytime and mingle. For more information contact the library or check out our Facebook page.
The Duck Hunt has begun! Ducks are waiting for you to find and return them to Milford Memorial Library! We have hidden rubber ducks around Milford for you to find. Duck Hunt rules and location updates will be posted on MML’s front door, website, and social media.
If you find a duck and their tag, return them to Milford Library. You will have a choice of placing your name into the grand prize drawing or adopting your duck with a personalized adoption certificate. One “Instant Prize” duck will be hidden per week. Return to Milford Memorial Library to receive a prize. For questions or more information please contact Milford Memorial Library by calling 712-338-4643 or by emailing [email protected]. Milford Memorial Library’s Duck Hunt will end on Monday, October 26!
On Monday, October 5, your invited to join MML’s All-Day Play! From 11:30 a.m., to 4:30 p.m., MML will have additional toys for kids to use their imaginations with during this free come-and-go playtime.
4th through 12th graders are invited to MML for Y.A. Maker Monday, on October 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This month, they will be creating giant googly eyes. This is a free come-and-go event.
MML’s After-School Adventures will be meeting on Thursday, October 8, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This month we will be creating fabric pumpkins. A small snack will be provided during this free activity.
You’re invited to join Milford Memorial Library Book Club on Tuesday, October 20, at 1:00 p.m. They will be discussing Dracula by Bram Stoker. It is not necessary to attend all of the book meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
On Monday, October 12, Milford Memorial Library will be closed in observance of Columbus Day. We look forward to seeing everyone when open on Tuesday, October 13, at 9:30 a.m. We hope you have a safe and fun holiday.
