Milford Memorial Library will be closed on Monday, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day. We look forward to seeing everyone when reopen on Tuesday, May 27, at 9:30 a.m. Remember to enter using the east door during the 9th street construction. Have a fun and safe holiday weekend.
Join MML for our weekly Building Bookworms Storytime on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. Take a look below for our themes. All materials and services are provided by the library free to participants. All kids and their adults are welcome to stay after storytime and mingle. For more information contact the library or check out our Facebook page.
Join us at Milford Memorial Library on Wednesday, May 21, at 5:00 p.m., for CrAFTER Hours. This month we will be making Citrus Tea Towels. The cost for this project is $5. Register by calling Milford Memorial Library.
The Milford Memorial Library Book Club welcomes any interested individual to join them on Tuesday, May 20, at 1:00 p.m., to discuss Someone We Know by Shari Lapena. Copies can be found at MML. It is not necessary to attend all of the meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
Press play on your summer reading game on Wednesday, May 28, at the Milford Pioneer Theatre! Join Milford Memorial Library, Arnolds Park Library, and Spirit Lake Library for two free showings of The Super Mario Bros., at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., for our 2025 Summer Reading Kick Off. Don't forget to bring two non-perishable food items to receive a free popcorn! Other concession stand items will be available at your cost.
Young Adults, get ready for the most epic adventure of the summer! Fourth through twelfth graders can pick up a race passport from Milford, Arnolds Park, or Spirit Lake Libraries and being a quest to visit 12 local hot spots. They will collect prizes and earn a chance to win a Nintendo Switch with a completed passport. The Amazing Library Race is from May 28, to June 30. Thank you to our Amazing Library Race partners, Friends of the Milford Library, Friends of the Spirit Lake Library, and Friends of the Arnolds Park Library for sponsoring this activity. Make sure you don’t miss out on the fun.
