Join MML for our weekly Building Bookworms Storytime on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. Take a look below for our themes. All materials and services are provided by the library free to participants. Grab a friend and come to Milford Memorial Library on Saturday, April 18. From 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., join MML for a Book Swap. Bring in good condition book(s), that you would recommend to a friend and swap for different books. This is a free come-and-go-event. On Tuesday, April 21, at 1:00 p.m., you are invited to join the Milford Memorial Library Book Club. This month, they will be discussing the murder mystery by Holly Jackson called Not Quite Dead Yet. Copies of this book can be found at Milford Memorial Library.
 
Make sure to stop at any of our participating host businesses to take home a free book from the Books in Businesses shelf. All books are free to take and the shelves will be restocked. This program was made possible through the Early Childhood Iowa Grant.  Thank you to our host businesses: Boji Ware Apparel and Gifts, Eckard Chiropractic, Hicks Family Healthcare, The Okoboji Cyclist, and Zen Salon.

Experience weekly magazines like The Week and People Magazine. Arriving monthly, are Better Homes and Gardens, Game and Fish Midwest, Food Network Magazine, Consumer Reports, and more. Seasonal magazines at MML are Allrecipes, Magnolia Journal, Pioneer Woman Magazine, and Midwest Living. These and additional free magazine titles can be found on Libby.

Thank you to all our little artists who took time and shared their talents during MML’s Spring Coloring Contest. We would like to invite everyone to see their masterpieces on display at Milford Memorial Library during the month of April. Join MML's CrAFTER Hours Wednesday, April 15, from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. This month create simple Bracelet Jewelry. Cost for the class is $5. Register at (712)338-4643.

Milford Memorial Library Book Club is on Tuesday, April 21, at 1:00 p.m. Discussing Not Quite Dead Yet by Holly Jackson. Jet is Twenty-seven years old, she’s still waiting for her life to begin. Until, on Halloween, Jet is attacked by an unseen intruder. She suffers a brain injury. The doctor is certain that within a week, she’ll suffer a deadly aneurysm. Jet is going to solve her own murder. Copies of this book can be at MML.
