During the month of March, kids in 4th grade and younger may take part in Read Across America Bingo. At MML’s front desk, pick up your special bingo card with 25 interactive reading options. Four Bingos in a row equals a small prize, and a completed bingo card equals a prize drawing entry. Read Across America Bingo will be available from Monday, March 2, through Tuesday, March 31.
Saturday, February 28, is the last day of MML’s Blind Date with a Book. Please return completed bookmarks to MML to be placed into a prize drawing. The prize is basket full of goodies. One basket for adults and one for children. Thank you to the Friends of the Milford Library for sponsoring Blind Date with a Book prizes.
Join us in welcoming Classic Guitarist Peter Fletcher, on Monday, March 16, at 6:30 p.m., at Milford Memorial Library. Peter will be preforming music from his new album, In Concert, along with music from Russian composer, Nikita Koshkin, Spanish composer Isaac Albeniz, and more. In 2027, Peter will return to Carnegie Hall. This free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Milford Library, Arnolds Park Public Library, and the Spirit Lake Public Library.
On Wednesday, March 4, at 5:30 p.m., an open meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Milford Memorial Library will take place in the Milford Community Center. The agenda will be posted on MML’s website and front bulletin board at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend and offer their thoughts in order to make MML a better library.
